Re: no title

Did your friend own the boat? If so You (should) be able to have him write you a bill of sale or apply for a lost title (and have it signed over to you). Check with your local (or maryland's if you are moving) wildlife and see what is involved. It should be a fairly easy deal (if the boat was registered to your friend).

Re: no title

Hi There! I am going through the same thing. I just bought an 88 glastron 19' for $400 with an excellent engine and outdrive. In my research I found ITS Title They say that they can get a clear maine registration with a bill of sale unless it isn't legal (stolen etc...) It looks like it will cost me $175.00. Please note: I have not sent my money and have nothing to go on except one phone call so far. So, if anyone has tried this please let me know before I start replacing the floors =)

JF
