I put the orange (small wires) that run from the coils (that are not firing) to the power pack, to the one that was and viola the new coils fired. Now when I had each small wire in its proper place and would turn the engine over the coils that are not firing would on occasion produce one very very weak spark and that is it. However the bottom coil that is working great shoots a nice big continuious spark. Is it the power pack or is it up by the fly wheel. (what is the electrical pickup called under the flywheel?)
Now if it is the power pack how come i could not put a jumper from one of the 3 white wires coming from the flywheel to each of the orange wires.
I guess I should ask this question. Is the power pack nothing more than a electrical bus or does it actually amplifiy the signal going to the coils?
