great forum,been searching for this answer but cant find one. here is my problem 89 sea nymph boat with 90hp and vro still working, that has 3 wires coming out of it. 2 overheat sensors in the head that has 1 each.I should have a beep with key in run position, prior to start but I don't. I did ground out the 2 overheat sensors and alarm did sound with key in run spot. Is there a ohms reading for the sensors? I also unplugged the 3 wire plug from vro and did an ohm reading and got 1020ohms across 2 of the 3 wires (grey to black). No reading from(black to tan). I also have 2 wires coming out of the oil reservoir. Is this a float alrarm? why no beep when I turn key to run position??????
