hi everyone i'm new here so helloo. igot a new to me 1972 princecraft with a 1972 85hp johnson electric shift?
does anybody know anything about this engine and boat i can't find anything on them anywhere and i,ve never heaard or seen a fiberglass princecraft before ,i thought they were all aluminum.. any help would be apreciated.. it's the picture in my profile thanks RICK

If you post your question about your motor in the Johnson/Evinrude forum you should be able to find out anything you want to know. As far as the boat goes, it would not be the first time I've seen a typically aluminum manufacturer name on a glass boat. Sometimes they contracted through other companies and put their name on it.

Make sure that you use the proper gear oil. The electric shift feature requires special oil - I forget the name.
