New Skeeter zx 2200 and porpoising

Bought new Skeeter ZX 2200 and I'm having trouble with porpoising. I have tried raising and lowering the jack plate (7") and the only thing that seems to work is to lower trim but then the boat drags. Any suggestions?

The standard answer is trim tabs but before I would do that I would suggest one of the larger fins on the motor. A Bob's Whale Tail might do it but you may think about trying something like a King Fin. All this is assuming you have a V6. <br /><br />Good luck!

Do not install a whale tail on this engine if is still under warranty because it will void your warranty on gearcase and motor mounts.You should be running a 25 pitch Tempest.
