Well I came across this boat and got it. Don't know anything about these boats, but after looking at pics of new ones and the others in here that have been restored I am really liking mine. I do have some work to do. The previous owner didn't have the skills to fix it up as you can tell from pics. His floor repairs are something I can't live with. Also looks like some things missing not sure what kind of console and windshield or what ever it originally had but that stuff is missing. Guess I will convert to center console. If any one has any nice pictures or more info of this model I would be grateful. Really would like to know what it looked like in original state. It is model MRNR 21 0/B I think 1976, has a older probably about same era 115 Merc on back. I couldn't attach the pics so click the link. http://picasaweb.google.com/jbcrumbley/197677Starcraft21OB#

Wow no reply's. I thought maybe I would get someone here that knows something about this model, guess not. Anyway here's a little progress on tearing out the old floor working my way to the transom replacement.

Jim, Sorry for not responding sooner.

First off, the boat looks to be in really good shape hull wise. Secondly, I don't have any info on the newer (1970 & up) boats. Do you not have any paperwork on the boat? Is it really 21'? if so, you have the makings of a really nice big water boat. Where are you located?

Looks to me like the boat should have a center or side console from the way the gunwales are put together. And it probably didn't come with a windshield.

Hi North Beach, LOL your resto thread is the reason I bought this boat. No I don't have any paper work on it, other than bill of sale. Yes it is 21 ft and I say 76 or 77 going by the hull id it has #76 in the end. I am located Just south of Atlanta in Georgia. Yes that's another reason why I bought it for the big water factor.:D and the price:( I also just came across a 140 hp Evinrude motor that I will be picking up later this week getting a steal on it.figure it would be easier to get a motor that's running and has T/T and it's the max rating for this boat according to sticker. This should run this boat nicely. The reason I was saying missing parts is if you look on the front up near the bow on top you can see where it looks like something was mounted up there. I was just thinking maybe it had a windshield or something maybe not. I'll post more pics as I move along.
Well the boat got me I slipped after removing the floor and cut my foot on the channel piece just below the ankle bone inside right foot...... could see the ankle bone  on crutches now.

That's a nice big high-sided boat you got there. And that 140 will be a great motor for it. Good luck with your project.

Thanks ezmobee , Yes it is. Your project was another that inspired me. Also with my excitement of the new buy I forgot it was a holiday weekend so I guess that could be a good reason for no reply's.:D
If I remember correctly the inside floor width was 5.7ft and at the inside of the gunwales was like 6.10... I'll have to re measure it:)
