Hey everyone,
Nice to meet you my names is Gill. I live in Massachusetts and plan on fishing in coastal and open waters. I've been looking for a Trophy boat forum for a little while and came across this one. I hope some of you out there can help me I have some questions a used trophy im might be buying this weekend. I am interested in a 2001, 2002 Walkaround with a 150 merc outboard. As a first time boat buyer i have some q's regarding trophy boats

1. When buying a trophy boat(or any boat) what are some warning signs i should look for when inspecting the vessel

2. What is a rough estimate of range that this boat is capable of(85g tank)?

3. How many hours should a 2001 have? i heard that around 90 a year is average?

If you have any other tips or advice please feel free to tell me.
Thanks in advance,
Gill

150 hp XL Mercury 29.9 mph 226 miles average. drive faster get less and slower well get more.

90 hrs a year or season is low, even for the short seasons we get up here in
New Enlgand. thats like 3.6 hrs a week
good luck
