Roca, what remote control unit do you have. Could it be the older OMC two handle setup that takes the series 400 cables? Without pictures it is just a guess. If you do use the 400 series control cables or any type cable for that matter, make sure you leave enough length so then the engine it turned the furthest angle there's still enough cable length to support that turn. Post some pictures if you need more specific help. JMHO!
