Need help badly

I'm having no luck finding out what size my engine really is. I bought the boat used and the person said it's a Ford 302. It even looks like one but when I buy simple parts for it such as plugs and wires, they don't fit. This is who converted the engine and model number: Waukesha WLA-VS-L16-03061

I've looked and looked all over the place and just can't find any reference to that model number. Can anyone tell me what size it actually is or point me in the right direction?

Maybe someone out there has a reference to decode the Pleasure craft marine #'s

In the mean time, write down the casting numbers on the intake manifold, and check them out on a google search.

That engine is most likely either a 289, 302, or 351 Windsor. Because the 351 has a taller deck height, it required a dedicated intake manifold that was about an inch wider than the 289/302 intake manifolds, so finding out what your intake manifold is for will give you a clue as to what the engine is.

Well, I can see it has a Volvo transom shield, and I suspect drive too. problem is, the engine is setup nothing like the Volvo AQ190 engine with is the 302 Ford. One other thing, Volvo did sell drive packages to a few boat companies and marinizers. Have no clue about Waukesha and what they did or even if they marinized it.
The boat isn't a Glastron is it?

Ayuh,... You bought the sparkplugs listed on that tag in the picture,..

Definitely a 289 or 302, the intake manifold is too narrow for a 351
