hi yall any boaters on here in raleigh nc area lookn to meet some fellow boaters in the area on the lake this year ??me and my wife we are around 35 looking for some other couples to hang/boat etc.... :joyous:

it all depends on my mood mainly camp fish hang eat cook tell ghost stories lol !! i have a 78 bumblee bee with 65hp it serves me well for cruising fishing etc... lol ... cant afford jet boating but mayb someday id luv to own one lol !!! we ususally camp/fish on falls but got a port.. gps finally this x-mas so looking to check out some other lakes in the area with out fear of getting lost !!! any suggestions of what to check out first would be great ... i hear kerr is a nice all around lake being 45 min.. away thinking there first ????

I was just about to post a thread looking for Raleigh nc people. My wife and I are looking for another couple or boaters around our age to hang with... We normally hit Falls in the northern section of the lake, around the marina. We love to camp/fish/drink We should chat!

yes sirrrr ..we live 10 min.from falls n.raleigh...540/ falls! !!send me ur number in private of course ..we do a lotta campn n actually have a.smll pop up we pull too ...or she pulls I pull the boat ..ill let u know when were planning a weekend probably another mnth or so gotta go home to chicago for her sisters weddng next week kinda breakn us this mnth lol! !!! add me as a friend also keep in touch ...do u needbhelp with ur restore id luv to come help ya out? ????r u close? ???

I head out to Falls quite a bit. I usually launch from Upper Barton Creek. Hang out in party cove, near the ramp, off of six forks road. I also head down to a rope swing near Holly Point Recreation area, near new light road. We usually hang out drink some beverages, and have a good time.

I go down to Jordon but I have been wanting to check out Falls. Just upgraded the boat so we have been going down to the coast when we can. When the weather gets nice out and we can swim then we will be hitting the local lakes for day trips.

How's falls? We're down in Fayetteville but drive to Jordan most weekends. We put in at ebeneezer church

Falls is good, deeper water but not as wide in most spots, altough the northern part of the lake is fairly open and where most of the water sports take place.

Jordan has a lot of under water hazards that i am not too keen on. Falls is closer to Raleigh and the southern end gets a lot of traffic with high dollar wakeboard boats that are fairly annoying. From Fayetteville if you are travelling up here anyway, I think it would be about the same distance so its definitely worth it to check it out.
