What music do you listen to when cruising, or just hanging out on the water??
Personal Favorites: Boston, Chicago, CCR, Springsteen.

i listen the the wind, the birds, the water laping against the hull, other people haveing fun. then again, when i have my boombox with me i listen to the blues, or beatles or stones or who or whatever is on the radio. i like both forms of music. i even like to listen to the sounds of other peoples boats, or even the way my boat sounds. it's all music to my ears. jim

Re: Music

A little Clapton goes a long way. Also go with Eagles and some Zep. Old school rocker but like the new stuff also.

Re: Music

I live to go out fishing early on sunday mornings so I can listen to my favorite radio program, Flashback with Bill st.James.. The show consists of classic rock from the 60's thru the 80's..

And then, Clapton!...

Re: Music

All the fav's listed so far...
Depends on the mood, tho. Beatles & Stones are 'must haves'. But you might also hear anthing from Aerosmith to Zepplin. Some oldies like ELO, BTO, Frampton, Skynyrd, Elton, and Jimi... but some newer stuff from an oldie like: Todd Rundgren's 'Liars' or Rob Zombie. And I like to play 'em LOUD, so they can hear me comin' long before they see me. If I could hook up my 450w Peavy bass amp, I would.
Re: Music

Boat music is different than music played at a picnic or in the car. Neil Diamond, but only rockin Neal, (rock me gently, brother loves traveling salvation show, etc) please take my word, the ladies of all ages love this stuff. Kenny Wayne Shepard (good for all situations), what would a trip into the marina be without playing some Johnny Cash, Uncle Kracker is always nice, 1812 overture, Buffet, Marley, Beach Boys, are always classics. Johnny Lang, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, instumental players.

Listening to baseball games on AM!! :)

I really like to burn my own CD's for boat use, and I have bought a player that supports the MP3 format. In this way I can put over 300 songs on just one CD.
