I am unsure of the best method of a long lasting STRONG repair for this...looks also matter.
My thought is to drill the ends of every crack, add a new piece of aluminum patch over it all and apply with gluvit and new solid rivets...
If I very carefully cut back the extra metal at the end of the interior supports, I should be able to access the backside with a bucking bar.
My patch would extend to well above where I replace the hook.
