I have metal shavings on the drain plug magnet in my lower unit. If I put some on my finger and rub my fingers together it feels more like wet powder than anything else. The quantity is about the head of a dull pencil after each oil change- I have to change it every 3 outings- darn OMC leaker. Is this something that needs to be explored further. Or is it pretty common and keeping the oil fresh should suffice?? <br />Thanks for any help.
