Hey Everyone,
My mercury 175 sportjet in my sugar sand tango is having some problems. I got a bit of water in the cylinder after having (what I thought) to be an electrical problem. The boat would run for about 30 seconds on the water and then die. This is after I emptied the water.
I pulled the boat out and while on dry land, it is running great. Started up very fast and ran until I shut it off (about 4 minutes).
I was told to check exhaust components, is there a way to check that/what should I do first?
Attached 2 videos, one of what it did while running on the water (died after about 20 seconds of idling) and the other of it running fine on dry land
