Merc(Triac type) to Shindengen(FET type) Single Phase Stator Rec/Reg Test and Conversion.

A more or less self explanatory bored to death pandemic pictorial special.....The new Shindengen rec/reg proved to be a cooler 20A runner and so far(since summer), solid as a rock.

Background/Motivation: Merc went to Shindengen's Rec/Reg with their newer motors that are 3 phase stators HOWEVER, old Merc's (single phase) got left behind...Till now!! Shindengen SH711 or Honda Part # 31620-ZG5-033

(Includes Old/Orig Merc Rec/Reg Tear Down, New Connector Type (no crap bullets) and Merc Tach Module Adapt....BONUS!!!)

Clarification to above.....Both types tested and compared at 10A, Shindengen's device is rated up to 20A. (see "single-phase open type") which I believed(bad hearsay) was FET, but it might still be thyristor.
