merc 165 hp inline 6 lower thermostsat problem

hey guys I need a hand with finding the "right part" .... don't even know what that means anymore lol.

any ways to the point ! the lower thermostat housing I'm looking for is Mercruiser P/N MC 307-HSG-LWR. I cant find any images of this part anywhere.
My boat is a Robalo sportsman R260, awesome boat BTW. Its powered by twin inboard FWC Mercs 165 HP inline 6's. I know by reading years of posts from Don S, Bondo, Achris and freebee tony that you guys have the most posts about this topic. the current thermostat housing is 63908A2 which is some kind of latest revision of housings that fit inline 4 and 6. so everything I have read so far says NOT to FWC the exhaust manifold, even my local Merc mechanic told me it wasn't designed for closed cooling. I know a few people on iboats have built full systems but I haven't seen any pics..... wish PHOTOBUCKET wouldn't hold everybody hostage BUT THATS ANOTHER RANT

please guys help me out so I can get my baby wet again.

That's a biggun!, so the one on top is MC307-HSG-UPR ? and the vertical pipe looks like its mounted to the exhaust log is plumbed to the heat exchanger to let raw water out. and directly behind the pressure relief cap has heated antifreeze back to exchanger?
