Lower unit oil

Like to thank everyone for the advise on trying to charge 2 batteries from my Mercury. I listened well and disided not to do it. Now another qustion please. I am about to change the oil in the lower unit of my Mercury 80hp. About how much oil should I buy, looks like maybe 1 to 2 quarts.<br /><br />Thanks, Darryl

Go to the store and buy 2 or 3 tubes of lower unit grease. It doesn't take that much. I had a Merc 500 and it only held a tube and a half.
