Looks like New roof and then a new boat

My wife was saying she wanted a camper. I told her that we could get an old StarCraft chieftain and use it as a boat or a camper as my dad had one when I was a kid and we camped in it on the trailer every weekend. Never left it in the water. She actually liked the idea and said she would help look. After we get a new roof on our house. We got credited back enough $ when we bought it to do it ourselves . At least i get to go boat shopping soon.

I didn’t really think she would go for it. But with a camper canvas it would be pretty nice. I showed her a picture of a 25’ chieftain adventurer cabin and she thought it was great… mind you I would only camp near a lake anyway

Thinking, watching and looking around. I’m wondering about turning my Offshore 18 into a chieftain type pocket cruiser? It’s not my ideal solution but it could work I think
