Looking to buy

I am going to look at a 1986 Sea Ray Sundancer 270. The prices is really good from what I have seen. Is there anything I should be looking for other then the normal stuff. This will be my first cabin cruiser, I have a cuddy cabin now just want something bigger. It has twin 3.7 motors I don't know anything about them any good or bad comments welcome about the motors as long as it is more then "stay away from them" or "I wouldn't own them" Give me some reasons.

I've heard the 3.7's aren't the best. You'd be good to go over to the Mercruiser I/O section and read up. Lots of posts over there about them.

I believe the main issue is the lack and expense of parts for them.

If you could find a boat with dual 4.3's, you'd be all set. They've used the 4.3l motors from the mid 80's until today.
