I've been working on restoring a 1981 Crestliner Nordic and the starboard end cap is busted. Was considering creating a new one, but wanted to check to see if anyone knew where I could locate one? I've looked around online and didn't see anything comparable and I haven't seen a lot of these boats in the South. Thanks for your help.

I've attached some pics of my boat when I got it so you can see the actual caps.

I'd suspect, you'd need to fabricate one. A good weld shop shouldn't have to hard a time doing that and it shouldn't cost to much either.

Do you have any of the original cap? I repaired the bow tip on my Nordic and reinforced with some J B Weld.

Thanks pckeen, those looks nice and well built... Unfortunately they'd have to be longer to cover up the factory holes and open transom on the Crestliner.

eboat85, I do have the original, it was split completely in two and actually was bent as well. They're pretty much just made of pot metal and I tried to JB the pieces together without success... there's probably too much stress on that cap for it to work and it looks horrible lol.

Thanks for everyone's input. I'll just plan to just get one fabricated and go that route.

I'd take the Origanal to the fabricator and see if they could possibly salvage it. You never know!!!;)
