Planning on making a road trip to Lake of the Ozarks in June and was wondering if anyone could recommend a resort? On another board someone mentioned a place called Robin's Resort and another mentioned Alhonna.

Also, I noticed from my searches that the lake is split into areas like Osage Beach, Lake Ozark, Sunrise Beach. In general, could someone describe where is a good location to stay on the lake? Oh yeah, having covered boat docks is a must have!

Thanks!
Chad F.

Hope you have a 40' boat! That is a huge lake with alot of BIG boats. Had a buddy several years ago who's boat got tore up while docked due to BIG WAKES...Too many people for me. From what I hear, you need to check out party cove...

But, to answer your question, we stay here for business meetings. It's a nice facility. I know they have some covered docks.

http://www.tan-tar-a.com/

On weekends between memorial day and labor day forget about the lake unless you're in an over 25 ft boat. During the week is ok for a smaller boats and fishing. Happy boating from St. Louis.
