Re: Lake Mitchell/Lake cadillac?
I was on lake cadillac/mitchell this summer. I was REALLY looking forward to bringing my boat up there and have never been able to. Anyway, highly disappointed! Cadillac was a yellowish hue. It was honestly disgusting. It didn't smell or anything, but it the propwash almost made me want to vomit because of the color. Lake mitchell is REALLY shallow... you have to watch your depth. I bend the heck out of my prop after hitting bottom (500' away from the shoreline, too). Overall, I was so disappointed. I have visited this area (without a boat) many times when I was younger and don't remember it being this way. Perhaps it's really gone down hill in the past few years...?
