Lake Manicouagan (PICS!)

Anyone been out on this lake? It's quite far north in Quebec...and from what I've read is in a rather hostile environment; as in cold and windy. Sure looks strikingly beautiful from the air though.

Sure gives a new meaning to "Boating around the Lake"; eh?

Curious about this myself. Saw it from Google Earth. I don't see any towns that would 'service' the lake. Google search shows pretty much no information about activities around the lake.

I've seen this before. It was in an article about ancient meteor strikes.
