Keeping the Battery in good condition

Hello...

I just got new two batteries (trolling motor and starter) and since winter is approaching I would like to know how you guys deal with keeping the battery good. I am storing the boat in my garage but like most of the normal garages it does not have a heating vent.

I just make shure they are fully charged,unhook em,top off in the spring. Never an issue for me.
