Allright guys, looking to jump into this starmada thing. Purpose, (beside i love these boats and want to redo one),
is to use around the Florida Keys in the Bays. I have a SeaRay 450DA that we leave in the Keys full time. I am
semi retired and we try and get down to the boat 4 or 5 times a year. We usually go to the Bahamas every other year for
3 or 4 weeks. Alot of our friends tow a small tender over to run around. We have a 10ft rib but i want something more usefull. I want to redo a 16 foot boat. Any thoughs twill be greatly appreciated, JC3

A jupiter or holiday would be great boats to restore. A super sport would be a good choice as well if your wanting the open bow. I believe the jupiter has a little narrower beam than the holiday or supersport. Whatever you choose will be a fun restore and and awesome handling boat.

Yes, I believe the Holiday's are just a little bit more substantial than the Jupiters. I think Jups are more common though.

Thanks guys for the reply's. Well i have not had much luck finding and old beat up 16'.
Contacted several CL's about listings and more info. All of them said they would get
more picture's for me but so far no sign's of life. Sent several a gentle nudge but so far
have not heard back. One that did contact me back has a 1961ish Viking. Its a little
smaller than regular Holiday/Jupiter models. A little far away but it may be a possible
contender. Again, Thank you guys so much for your help. One thing i noticed as i went
thru resto threads was the great people on this site! JC
