Johnson outboard motor

I recently bought a project boat and it's a 1968 lone star run about. It came with a johnson outboard meteor motor 100 hp and the plate on side says it's a v4ml-12r I recently needed to get a new wire harness for it and I got a 413-9900 and when it arrived I tried to install it and I can only get so far due to the wires that were on there was totally destroyed. I been trying to find a wire diagram or something for this motor but has become very hard to find. I could seriously use some help. Once this is done I can put it on the water. And it seems I can't post pics to help.

I've already gotten new plugs and wires and coil and voltage regulator for it and now got a new wire harness for it. And it's the wires that go to the coil and alternator/starter that I'm having issues with and knowing which wire and color goes to them.

Also the motor turned over before I did anything more for it. But the wire harness was destroyed. Meaning old and not good. And so I figured I'd replace that and do regular maintenance on it too like would with a car lol
