Johnson controls Tach plug

Grabbing a NOS OMC part # 172258 Tach, tomorrow, Looking at the plug on the back of the controls it is labeled A B C for the three prongs but nothing to denote which is GND SND and Switched power.. anyone have one hooked up that could give me the color codes for the letters? Since a is the only one hooked up I can tell you that that's Switched power.. But B and C are a mystery.

If it's an original OMC tach it will likely have the 3 pin connector that plugs right into your control box, it's plug and play so to speak. That's the way mine is anyway.

Awesome, I will hope for the 3 pin connector. But to answer my own question and the question asked by many, A is Switched Power (Purple) B is tach Sense (gray) and c is Black or ground. The raised letters are on both the boot and the plug it's self
