Guys I have a 1990 GT 175 Johnson that has no spark on any cylinder. I have had problems in the past with it being hard to start at first and then once it fires it will run without a glitch all day and not miss a lick on any restart. I have the cdi troubleshooting guide and have gone through it. I have a good charge on the battery, new starter which is cranking at the correct rpms. I disconnected the kill switch wires from the power pack. No change. Disconnected the yellow wires from the rectifier no change. I checked the Ohms on the stator. First pair (brown to brown yellow) 959, second pair (brown/black to brown/white) 916, third pair (orange to orange/black) 99. I reversed the leads on the voa meter and get the same reading. I have changed out the power pack with one from cdi and made sure all the wires match in the plugs and that i disconnected the positive cable while installing so as not to blow the pack. At this point i still have no spark. any suggestions? thanks!
