Hello, i found an Achillies Inflatable for sale on Ebay (Australia)
Please see link to view boat.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Archilles-in.../230555904226?pt=AU_Boats&hash=item35ae33e8e2

I have contacted the owner and he tells me that he would sell now for $1000.00 dollars AU (AU dollar nearly same as US dollar).
I dont need the 5hp merc it comes with as i have an 8hp Yamaha ready to go.
So i could sell the 5hp back on Ebay.

The boat looks old but in good condition, is it worth buying or should i buy a new PVC boat like the Zodiac Zoom (all my budget / wife allows for).

Any advise would be greatly appreciated... Thank you....

If the sib is in mint condition as seen on web photos, seams, tubes holds air properly, go for it, it's a hypalon boat, an excellent oldie and comes with lots of accesories included. Nothing to compare against a Zodiac Zoom that is a French pvc fabric. That price is a real bargain, you are looking at least at a $ 4.0 grand sib/engine combo. Check general conditions and decide.

Happy Boating

Looks clean and serviceable. Could use a little material restoration to bring back the color and protect against the elements. Not a bad looking buy. A hands on inspection would be a better perspective though.
