Im considering getting an old IMP( maybe 69 ) thats being given away. The engine compartment is flooded and the motor has been sitting half way in water for probably a year. It seems to have an old chevy straight 6. The questions: is it worth it, are the parts for this engine standard chevy parts. Im new to boats but i am mechanical. Any thoughts on this?
