Here's some decent refueling stops in Florida.<br /><br />Titusville muni marina with fuel and showers. It's past Daytona and few miles south of the Haulover Canal. <br /><br />Next...If you want to detour to the ocean take the Barge Canal east to Port Canaveral, go through the locks and fuel there. You can also take the Barge Canal east and turn south again in the Banana River. It runs past Cocoa Beach and there are waterfront resturants at the SE corner of the 520 causeway. The Banana River joins the ICW again about 15 miles south (S. tip of Merritt Isl).<br /><br />If your ICW guides are old there are no longer marinas in Cocoa and Merritt Island at the 520 Causeway (Indian River side). Both were closed and condos under construction. However, there is a nice public launch ramp/park on the Cocoa side and quaint "Cocoa Villiage" for food and shopping a block away.<br /><br />After that, two good marinas are at Melbourne by the south tip of Merritt Island on the NE side of the causeway. Walk to food and showers available.<br /><br />Next marinas are across from Sebastian Inlet on the mainland. Some good food and bev at Capt'n Hiram's (party central)and you can slip the boat there overnight. Sebastian Inlet can be tough and local knowledge is advised if the waves are up and tide out going. However, you can travel close enough to check it out and still have time to turn around. <br /><br />Vero muni marina - fuel and showers<br /><br />Ft Pierce several marinas on the mainland side.<br /><br />Next stop is Stuart.
