Hello everyone, I have a problem with my engine: it seems that the intake manifold gasket is leaking. I notice fluid loss and a drop in engine performance, which is starting to be really annoying. I would like to avoid having to disassemble the entire manifold and spend a fortune at the garage. While looking for solutions, I came across sealants like Mechasmate https://www.mechasmate.com/products/head-gasket-fix, which are supposed to seal small leaks without disassembly. Before I start, I wanted to know if anyone here has already tried this kind of solution to seal a leak at the intake manifold. Does it last over time or is it better to go straight to replacing the gasket?
Thank you for your feedback and advice. I am interested in any tips to avoid a costly repair.
