Good Evening,

Sometime ago my grandfather passed away and left me a little aluminum sears boat. I would like to learn more about the boat and possibly clean it up and put it to use.

I know that the boat is an aluminum, semi v, riveted hull and is 12 foot long. The Hull plate tells me its model 61122 but I am unable to find reference to this number from Iboats; I think the year is 1968 or so and Iboats goes back to early 70's. Is this a Gamefisher?

Also, for those that have a boat like this, how does it perform, especially for those in the 250lb weight range? :)

Photos attached.

Thanks,
longhaul28

Re: Inherited Sears Boat

I'm no expert Longhaul, but that's a nice looking little boat. Just right for tooling around lakes and ponds.
She appears to be a bint skimpy on freeboard, but I'm sure you, and another like you, would be fine in her.
Look at the density of the riveting on the hull....well made! You'll probably leave her to YOUR grandchildren.
