Its a pretty easy job. Is it overheating? If not the hose may be clogged up from mud daubers. With the motor running and in the water or muffs attached, try running a piece of weed wacker line up the hose to clean it out.
No it is not over heating as I had the muffs on and when no water flowed I shut it down. I will try the weed eater line trick and hope for the best. Thanks for the help.
Its really not hard. It will take you a while if its the first one you have ever done though. If the impeller is more than a couple of years old its best to replace it...
I'd get a new one, they're cheap, check the stainless cup that it rides in too. Put a dab of wheelbearing grease on the key to stick it to the driveshaft, slide on the new impeller, lube the new impeller with dishwashing liquid (not grease), clamp the driveshaft up top with vice grips, twist the driveshaft and push it in while turning, make sure that it never turns backwards once it is installed.

bhile, thanks again. I tried the weed wacker line today and it worked great, I think there is more water than ever coming out now . I hope to get out on the water this Saturday and maybe even Sunday!
