13 jan 2012 011.jpgJust start to work back on the islander last week, after over a yr in storage its time to put some new life into it.

the plan are to replace the floor , transom, replace and relocate fuel tank, replace and relocate the cabin door.

I will reuse any thing that is still good. Im also building a larger new dash with gauge from yunger donor boat.

Good luck on your project! It's good to see some more Starcrafts on here. I really like how the Islanders look. Post up some shots of the whole rig when you get a chance :D

Im missing a small side window, as you can see on pics. if any body have one available. i had the engine and foot replace and test drive in this boat last yr. so now it came all out for tructural work, the below will need to be look at because there was water in it.

Hey Roy, great to see that you are on the project again. You may want to keep your posts all together just so we can follow along better.

That window will be a tough find for sure. I wonder if it would be easier just to take it to an auto glass place to have them make one?
