I have a 1988 305 omc cobra with electronic ignition. I have replaced the coil, rotor, alternator and ignition module. I have minimal spark from the coil wire and no spark at the plug wires and it still won't start. Any suggestions? <br /> <br />
Make sure your shift switchs are not interfearing with your ignition system. If you have a bad shift cable, switch or module, it will cut the voltage down. Thats how they come out of gear.
Try this replace + wirer to coil with jumper wirer<br />see if it runs if not try replaceing ground wirer. donot leave + wire on to battery you will kill it. If + found bad replace it from ing. switch.<br /><br />STILL FISHING!!
