Identifying Volvo Penta engine year

I am having a problem with what year my engine is I am thinking 91 or 92 because all the original hoses have a 1992 stamped on them.My owners card states engine type 430B serial # 4100139135 any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

Volvo doesn't really go by year, only by model. The 430 series came out in 90, have no idea how many years it was used. As long as you know you have a 430B, that is what you use for parts & service information.<br />What is the month and year your boat was built? That is usually a good indication within a year.
