long story short-a neighbor gave me a boat that had sat behind his shed for years. He had no paper work, title ect. He used it a few times-no reg. I figured what the heck,it'd be perfect for my boys, so I took it home-threw it in the river. A week or so later it was still afloat. I threw an engine on, zipped down river, spent some time on the bay, zipped back home, pulled it out, threw it on horses & figured I'd help the boys clean her up.Figured I start with the manufacture-I'm still trying to find any info.(I'll try to get a few pics.) It's fiberglass, length: 10', beam 4 1/2', tran. 15", hull says Mitchell MFG, Green Cove Springs Fla., data plate says Mitchell Mfg. model 500, serial #7250 110, Max Cap. 2, Max HP 5. It has 2 seats, middle seat opens up for storage, the bow is closed up about 18" back with I'm guessing an anchor locker. it has a sub floor for drainage, the hull is sort of a tri-hull. I'm ignorant when it comes to boats(like I had to say that) For a little thing it's got to weigh close to 200, but it rode well, got up on plane fast and handled the bays chop better than my kidneys-so if anyone has any info,or suggestions (other than my wifes-which isn't really possible) I'm all ears, eyes ect.
Thanks,
Fritz
