iboats West Havasu get together April 1st

All, there are plans coming together for an iboats get together on April Fools Day (how appropriate ). Details are still being ironed out, but the simple version is that we are going to meet somewhere on Lake Havasu at 10:00 AM April 1st.<br /><br />There is camping on the water (boat accessible only), camping on the shore by wheeled vehicle, hotels on the water and hotels scattered around off the water.<br /><br />Please take a look at these two threads as they are related and have more info (some confusing as we batted around some other dates . . .)<br /><br /> Dockside Chat get together link <br /><br /> Hijacked Mohave thread (sorry)

It's penciled in and I'll know for sure as the date gets closer. Took the boat in for the 20hr service yesterday so that it would be ready.

My wife and I tossed our hat into the ring and made our reservations at the Nautical Inn for March 31 - April 3rd. (We are a tad too old to go camping).<br /><br />Any chance for a marine flea market? <br /><br />((This had better not be an April Fools Day joke and we are the only ones that show up! <ha ha>

I've read and reread the UBB code sheet, but unable to pick it up from there. ^bump^<br /><br />My BIL is going to secure a site at Friendly Island the Thursday prior to April 1st. He says that he will have difficulty getting multiple sites. I will be there sometime on Friday the 31st, but those that want to camp on the water need to know those sites are first come first served . . .<br /><br />In our group we will have at least three boats, so those who need to be shuttled from the beach etc. need not worry. We will just need to coordinate.

Hi Guys,<br />You all ready for the Lake Havasu trip? Looks like I won't be ready to bring my boat along; but I am going anyway and will be there by Friday AM. <br />But, I'll be working on the house there, my garage panel door buckled; and looks like I'd need to replace the opener as well. Hopefully I'll be able to straigten it up and get it to work and look reasonably decent. So, time permitting, I'll stop by and say hello! <br /><br />QC, where would the gathering be? Time?

For those without a boat there is parking at the Restaurant. Will update later tonight.<br /><br />Weather is looking like it will hold. Temps around 80 through the weekend, some scattered clouds.

Hello all, "watered down" referred me to this site. I am a member at the trailerboats.com forum. I will be going down to Havasu friday night and will be staying there until Sunday morning. This is my first time out to the lake, and am really inexperience with boating. I have a 89 Sunbird. In addition, I have no clue on how to launch this thing into the water. My wife and I are alway up to meeting new people. So, if anyone is willing to help me launch my boat, I would greatly appreciate it. I will be in Havasu probably around 10 pm Friday night. BTW, is there any good camp sites you guys suggest, I have no clue on how to get to Friendly Island.
