I Just bought a 96 Bayliner 1750 LS. The Engine serial# is OF878764 and the drive serial # is OF873465. The engine (I think) is a 3.0LX, at least thats what the plate says. I took it to the lake and it did great, except for a little bogging when I hit it. I decided to go ahead and do a tune up. I bought the AC-MR43LTS plugs that it said. When I took the old ones out they were for the 3.0L (Champion RV15YC4). I decided not to put the longer plugs in till I asked a Pro. What should I do and what engine do I really have??Thanks in advance.

Use the AC plugs you bought, they are the right ones. Who knows why a previous owner or mechanic put in the wrong ones.
