hull thickness below waterline

Hi, I am installing an automatic bilge pump on my 1979 Pearson 30 and am debating ways to secure it to the bottom of the bilge. Does anyone know how thick the hull is in the bilge, because I was thinking I could just screw it in? Or I could epoxy some small bolts to the bilge and secure it that way, but that's more work.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It is thick BUT not enough to drill screw holes :D without risk

It also varies a LOT with the keel sump being the thickest and getting thinner as it gets above the waterline

Like Tommays said, in some places it is thick enough, but why risk it, just epoxy a block of teak to the hull and screw into that...
