How Fast???

I recently purchased a 1986 Pro-Craft 1750. The Motor is a 1979 175 Black Max. It has no Jack Plate and has a 24 pitch Stainless Prop. I Have 2 Questions:<br /><br /><br />1. Does anyone know the Dry Weight of this Boat?<br /><br />2. What kind of Speed should I be running with the current set up?? (My Speedodmeter is not accurate)

Howdy, Jrichardson. If you are running 5500rpm and get 50% slip from the prop you would be doing 60mph. With only 30% slip, you would be doing 87mph.<br /><br />EEEEK!!!
