horn blows

I have a 1993 150 johnson that the signal horn blows for two seconds then off for two seconds continous after the engine as been running at an idling. The higher the rpm gets the faster the horn blows

it's either the over heat alarm, no oil alarm. shut it down , till you find out.

Overheat is a steady beep. You have an oil injection problem. Empty and clean the oil tank and filter. Check the oil line for kinks and cracks. Refer to the service manual for testing of the oil injection system.

Today I installed a remote oil tank pick-up kit. Cleaned tank,added new oil. Still same alarm

Could be one of your sensors has gone Kaput.

Turn the key to on so that you get the alarm, and start disconnecting the sensors one by one to determine which one is resulting in the alarm. All the sensors should have tan wires. Should be one sensor wire going to your oil tank (low oil in tank), probably two to the cylinder heads (overheat), and another to the fuel pump (low oil flow).

Once you determine which sensor is resulting in the alarm, you can narrow down the problem. (ie. has the sensor gone goofy or do you have another problem like low oil, overheat, etc.)
