Hey Folks,
I thought I would share for others who are rebuilding this Windless. It was discontinued in 2003 and the bearings are hard to get. Below is the info for replacing all bearings, including in the $500.00 Electrical Motor bearings.

Not that it really matters, but the bearings listed are metric.

Appears someone measured the bearings in inches then tried to convert to metric, thus the weird metric diameters. IE not whole numbers

Actual, HF3020 - 38 x 30 x 20 (1.496" x 1.181" x 0.787")
HF3020 - 38.1 x 29.972 x 19.860 (1.460" x 1.180" x 0.782")

The errors don't look large, but they're huge considering typical bearing tolerance runs plus and minus 0.0005"

Yep, I mic'ed them and wrote down the rough measurements. I ended up getting the actual P/N off the bearing I removed, that is what is listed as cross over P/N:

IMPORTANT !!! There is a bearing (#29) that is a clutch bearing. Make sure you install it with the arrow pointing Clockwise !!!! Also, make sure you install the Mainshaft space, #18. Just found it on the bench after assembling the windlass and painting it. Now I have to disassemble it again and install. Also, The 2nd Compound Gear assemble is a high failure item. I thought it was a solid gear, but it actually has a moving sleeve that pushes the smaller gear and allows clutch dogs inside to engage or disengage depending on the direction it turns inside the clutch bearing(#29). This video is for a different model windlass, but is very similar to this model. The guy does a good job explaining the repair of the 2nd compound gear:
