Honda 15hp convert to longshaft

Greetings all, I have a 15hp shortshaft honda, just sitting here looking at lake motor is at home, motor silver- gold color dont have model #,question is: converting to longshaft, can a bottom end from many years (colors) be used to convert as I am thinking availability on older might be easier, or trades.

There is not a conversion kit out there that I know of but if this is a 15a and you can find a salvaged long shaft,things backfit for the entire run when it comes those components.

Hi ,Yes this is a BF15A, so older models will work ? how about 10hp or others?
