I have a 1992 40HP 3 cylinder Yamaha. I was wondering does it have a high speed switch to keep the engine from over revving. So that if I over prop it, it wont blow the engine up. I have a 10 3/8 X 13 on it now. I want to put a 11 5/8 X 11 on. I really don't want to spend the money on a tach. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
