Here's a pic of the last fish I caught

Biggest fish I've ever caught. Caught it in Galveston Bay in my 13' Boston Whaler. Took quite a while to land him on 20lb test.<br /><br /> http://users3.ev1.net/~keltonkrew/mike-fish.jpg <br /><br />This is one ugly fish!~<br /><br />I'm 6'-1", 225lb, so that should give you an idea of the size of this fish. It about whooped me.

If ya put a yoke on it and dangle a shrimp in front of its face on a stick....It'll pull your boat around the bay all day long....give it a shrimp and promise it two and it may show you where the faimly reunion's gona be at that day ....Nice Fish.<br /><br />Derwood.

It is an UGLY drum! (Same family as Redfish, etc)<br /><br />Fight like he!!, but have big ole lips! It was a nice catch, but did I say it was ugly?<br /><br />This fish almost took off my entire spool before wearing him out. I really didn't think I would land it as I was running out of line and the fish kept going and going. He took up the entire rear section of my 13'......

Hey KK, which bait camp did you get that from? None of the mudminnows I've been getting lately have been that big! (a little Texas humor for the rest of the folks). <br />I'll bet it took an hour to fill up the hole after you got him in the boat!

dang... am jealous <br />kinda looks like a freshwater sheepshead, but<br />don't think they get that big.

Mellowyellow,<br />These drum look a lot like sheepshead. there are a few differences, but the easy way to tell is the full mouth of "human" teeth in the sheepshead.<br /><br />Scudrunner,<br />took me about an hour to recouperate! Don't think I want to catch many that size too often <br /><br />Would like to spread it out.<br /><br />Like I said, this is the biggest I've ever caught. Felt good coming back to the dock in my "ugly" 13' whaler. Guys in these big expensive boats and not much in the coolers. (Granted my cooler was empty except this one fish!)

It ain't the boat that counts it's the angler in it. I know guys that never would have ever been able to catch that fish and they own expensive equipment and such. Not that I am expounding on your prowess because even a blind hog can find an acorn. LOL Actually I am a bit jealous (not that I have not caught fish that big catfish, sharks). I have never caught a drum of any size. Did get a 9#+ spottail once.

Thats one of the ugliest drum Ive ever seen. Although they're all ugly. Hince the name Big Ugly huh. I have a few ugly ones from recent fishing trips. I fish out of Sabine Pass Texas. Will have my 25 ft. offshore boat going before long. Been a project of mine. Anyway, to the point, if anyone fishes my part of the world. Let me know and we'll get together sometime. Ive caught a few that big, but in our parts, you catch one of those, its bad luck to let it in the boat. hehe<br />And omg, the crap youd get if somebody knew you kept it. But one things for certain, KK is right, they put up on hell of a fight. Caught one on 12lb yest once, he wayed about 18 i think, but not sure, since he never made it in the boat <br />Nice fish KK

Nice Drum But you want to see i real nice one I hold the record 365 lbs From Del Bay New Jersey side Very hard to clean that one was .
