If you want to run the motor, just stick your garden hose into the bellhousing water port - the one with the o-ring on it. It will run and cool perfectly.
however middle of block on both sides, about 1" up from oil pan is a 1/4" pipe plug. pull those, then unfold a paper clip and dig around in there to make sure its not blocked by crud
bottom of the two exhaust manifolds about the middle or maybe on one end are the other plugs. pull those, then unfold a paper clip and dig around in there to make sure its not blocked by crud
relax, stay calm, drink a beer, pull plugs, poke holes, let drain. change oil, change filter (use a bag around the filter to catch the mess), spray out bilge with dawn dish soap, then rinse crud out of bilge.
One more question I have a big engine compartment and the oil pan has a drain plug I was going to drain the oil out the bottom but one little problem there is expanding fome under the motor blocking the drain plug I was going to drain it in to a tin pan but the foment is in the way what is the foment for its about 4 inch high by a foot long this is my first big boat
On marine engines the dipstick tube goes to the bottom of the pan, so you can suck the oil out from the top. There are a bunch of different pumps that you can purchase.
