Re: help with tachometer

Gray should go to the sender
Black should be ground
Green is either for the Backlight or ignition
Blue is either for Backlight or ignition

With a Voltmeter handy, turn Navigation lights to the "ON' position. The backlight wire will give you 12 volts, while the other should show nothing! That's how it works on mine!

Re: help with tachometer

Could the green wire possibly be a purple wire? Purple is ignition switch power. Blue is lights, grey is the sender and black is ground.

Good luck!
