help - intermittent rpm loss on Merc 150hp (2000)

Problem just started this past summer. Cruising along fine, then rpms drop. Not drastically, but maybe a couple hundred rpms. Calm water/choppy water, warmed up/not warmed up, doesn't matter. Will happen every minute or so, and drops only for about 10 seconds or usually less. This has the extra long salt water shaft, but engine is in fresh water. Thanks for any help.

Fuel delivery problem. Replace fuel pump diaphrams and check high speed jets to see if any are loose.
